About the Syrian American Club
The Syrian American Club (SAC) was founded in 1991 to advance the social and cultural needs of its members and friends in Houston, Texas.
Our mission is to foster community service and promote civic responsibility while celebrating and preserving the heritage and culture of Syria.
SAC offers Arabic language classes, awards scholarships to university students, supports newly arrived refugees, organizes donation drives, and hosts exhibitions, lectures, recitals, and social events throughout the year.
