The Syrian American Club provides many opportunities for its members to gather for fun and for celebration.

PICNICS

Once or twice a year, the Syrian Club hosts picnics that provide a fun-filled atmosphere of food, music and games for the hundreds of people that attend. Children are drawn by the face-painting, petting-zoos and rides that are set up, while adults enjoy the chance to eat and socialize with one another.

HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS

During the holidays, the Syrian Club hosts celebrations of Eid and Christmas so that our children have an opportunity to get together and share the joy of the season.

SCHOLARSHIP GALA

Our annual Syrian American Club Scholarship Endowment Gala is held annually in April, it is a combined celebration of the educational achievement of students in our community, Syrian Independence day, and the unity and accomplishments of the Syrian-American community in Houston. Over two hundred people attend the Gala each year and enjoy the entertaining program.

Each year, more than 10 scholarships, new and continuing, are awarded. We wish our winners the best of luck in their academic achievements!

BOOK CLUB

Do you enjoy reading and would like to join a group to share your good reads with? If so, then the Syrian American Book Club may be perfect for you! This Club of avid readers meets monthly to choose and discuss a new book. YOUTH SAC

Our younger members, between the ages of 18 to 30, have come together to organize their own regular outings and activities, and we couldn't be more proud that the young adults of our community share an interest in keeping our community active!
